HOW LONG WILL MY HAIR EXTENSIONS LAST?

With proper care, your hair extensions can last 1 to 2 years. Just like your natural hair, activities like bleaching and excessive heat can cause damage and decrease the lifespan of your hair extensions. Review our hair care guides for Closure Wigs & Wefts for additional information.

CAN I COLOR MY HAIR EXTENSIONS?

Yes! Miix Mii Hair is 100% human hair. It can be cut, colored or lightened. We recommend seeking professional help to cut, apply, or lift color from your hair extensions.

Just like your natural hair, any hair extensions that have undergone chemical processing will require more maintenance to keep them looking like new. Use of bleach for drastic lightening effect can alter the original texture of the hair. 

We recommend purchasing our Champagne Blonde hair to use in treatments that require color lifting.

CAN I STRAIGHTEN MY CURLY HAIR EXTENSIONS?

Yes, however, as with natural hair, excessive heat can damage the curl pattern.  We recommend limited use of heat, use of a heat protectant, and applying temperatures no more than 450°.

CAN I STRAIGHTEN MY TEXTURED BLOWOUT HAIR EXTENSIONS?

Yes!  Miix Mii Textured Blowout can be silk pressed.

WHAT PRODUCTS SHOULD I USE?

We recommend using high quality professional products designed for textured hair.  Miix Mii extensions should be deep conditioned every 2 to 3 weeks.  Avoid using heavy creams, shea butter, or products that contain shea butter.

HOW MANY BUNDLES DO I NEED FOR A SEW-IN?

We recommend 2-3 wefted hair bundles for a full head in all textures. For lengths 20 inches or more, at least 3 wefted hair bundles are recommended.
